Microsoft has officially rolled out the August 2018 update for the Surface Book 2, which went on sale last year. The latest firmware update is available for Surface Book 2 devices that run Windows 10 Fall Creators Update or Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
According to the changelog published by Microsoft, Intel's display driver on Surface Book 2 is getting an update to version 24.20.100.6136 to improve system stability. The update also includes improvements for battery performance and keyboard backlight.
As always, you're recommended to make sure that your device is charged or plugged in when installing the new versions because otherwise, you could hit some serious issues. If you have not received the update, you can go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and select Check for updates.
